India’s Central Bank Wants Retail CBDC Customers To Have Access To Privacy Laws
It’s reported that the Indian central bank pushes for legislation that permit users of the retail central bank digital currency (CBDC) to remove any transactions from the network’s ledger inorder to maintain anonymity. The source stated that they are figuring out how to maintain anonymity in CBDC, and urges the government to offer a legal basis in terms of legislation that allow users to delete transactions to protect anonymity.
