Maximum P2P Bitcoin Lightning Transactions Paid In 3 Minutes Set Unofficial World Record
Peer-to-peer (P2P) Bitcoin(BTC) transactions on the Lightning Network have currently set a new international record on February 18, 2023. The Praia Bitcoin experiment, a Brazilian nonprofit social project, was able to complete a maximum of 71 peer-to-peer bitcoin transactions in under 3 minutes, 33 seconds, which is the most significant peer-to-peer (P2P) bitcoin transactions via Lightning to ever happen within that amount of time.
